learn from and have fun in a new and popular country in Africa? You can assist to protect the people with intellectual disabilities from stigmatization, abuse, and exploitation, and work towards a society in which every person with intellectual disabilities have a better quality of life.
Inclusion Ghana (IG) is a non‐profit, non‐government association representing the voices of all
Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families. Established 8 years ago, IG has
positioned itself as a community change agent in Ghana, with a strong focus on advocacy and service for persons with intellectual disabilities, both locally and nationally.
Inclusion Ghana works with non-governmental and community based organisations to offer services to persons with intellectual disability and their families and advocate for their rights and needs.
Currently, it partners twenty-six (26) affiliate member organisations across the nation and has
formed over one hundred and sixty eight (168) Parents Self Help Groups made up of about 2,300
parents of children with intellectual disabilities nationwide.
